The Very Best Water

Our mission is to bring our customers the very best quality drinking water. The water treated and delivered to customers of the Authority, the City of Jenkinsburg & the City of Jackson meets, or exceeds, all state and federal standards for safe drinking water.  Water testing is carried out continuously within the treatment plant.  The water supply is further monitored by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, which also runs numerous tests on our water.

Each year we publish a Water Quality Report which provides detailed information on testing and outlines the process involved in delivering the highest quality drinking water available. Click on the link here to view our  Water Quality Report  for 2007, the last full year of testing.

Our Ocmulgee River Water Treatment Plant consistently receives the Gold Award from the Georgia Water & Pollution Control Association for quality performance and has been elevated to the Plantinum Award for 7 straight Gold Awards this year.  If you ever have questions or concerns about the quality of water delivered to your tap please call us at 770 775-0042.  We will send a service person out to check your situation and run tests as appropriate.  For more information on drinking water quality, visit the Consumer Water Center on the American Water Works Association web site.
