Partnership for Progress

In Butts County, Georgia, public water supply is provided through a partnership of the Butts County Water & Sewer Authority and each of our municipalities-- Jackson, Jenkinsburg and Flovilla.

Since 1988, we have been working to develop water supply, treatment, storage, and pumping facilities for everyone in the county. With 95% of Butts County's population now served by public water, the Authority continues to extend the water system to areas that do not currently have public water.  The Authority also operates the first phase of a county sewer system currently focused on the Interstate 75 corridor.
