April 14 2015 – The Authority has decided to use a stylized rendition of “Welcome to Beautiful Butts County” along with its water drop logo on the new elevated water tank being built at Interstate 75 and Colwell Road. This is the same logo used on the Authority’s existing tank on Georgia Highway 16 west of Jackson. The new tank will be visible from the interstate, but motorists will only be able to see it for a few seconds when the tree line breaks at Colwell Road.
Also, “Letsonville Community” will be painted on the side of the tank not visible from Interstate 75. Letsonville was recently designated as an unincorporated community by the Butts County Board of Commissioners.
