June 17, 2014 – The Authority awarded Caldwell Tanks the construction contract for a 500,000 gallon elevated water tank that will be located at the intersection of Colwell and Harkness roads. Caldwell had the low bid of $1,135,000 on the project. The new tank will provide a second elevated storage tank in the western pressure zone of Butts County. Funding for the project has been provided by the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority through its federal revolving funds program.
