July 8, 2014 – The Authority’s board of directors approved an across the board increase in water and sewer rates of five-percent. The new rates will become effective for bills sent out September 1st. For an average customer using 5,000 gallons of water, the monthly bill will increase from $25.50 to 26.75. This is the first rate increase on the water system since 2009. Sewer rates were last raised in 2012.
