The water system has been restored to full operation and the microbiological quality of the water has been determined to be safe for consumption.
A boil water advisory was issued Sunday as a precaution because a water source pressure level dropped below 20 psi due to a water main break along Highway 36 East. Twenty-four hour bacteria tests were performed and have come back negative, indicating that the water is safe to use for all normal purposes.
